When I think about Hospitality, I see the mission for which God called me some time ago, which is to follow His example and to prostrate myself before the sick and the poor. My name is Brother Tymoteusz Hołozubiec, and for me Hospitality has enormous value: it means total devotion to the service of God and to the search for the suffering Christ in those who come to us for help in our institutions. It is in the spirit of the vow of Hospitality, which I offer up to God, that I perceive His great mercy and the great gifts He bestows on all those who dedicate their lives to Him by joining the Hospitaller Order and forever serving, without limits and with extreme dedication, those who need help.

For me, Hospitality is an encounter, a life spent in communion with one’s Brothers in a religious community where we are constantly united in the Charism and in the spirit of prayer. It also means working continuously side by side with our Co-Workers, in the creation of a system of Hospitality based on professionalism, dedication and courage in offering the sick assistance and care in the manner of Saint John of God.

Finally, Hospitality is for me a direct encounter with the patients in the hospital where I am assigned, sharing with them their fears, serving them disinterestedly, and always looking towards the Divine Mercy of our Lord.
