I was always aware of the great work done in Suzanne House and immediately took the opportunity to volunteer there when it arose.    As a volunteer I will sit with the children for company, maybe reading some stories or watching a DVD with them.  I Stay overnight on my visits so that if a child should need to go to hospital at any point I am available to accompany them.  I find the experience incredibly rewarding and definitely feel my life has been enriched as a result.While my contribution may be small I know that in some way it enables the service to carry out its very special work providing respite for children with life limiting condition and also for the families.
