I am the Chef of the hospital. My responsibility is to ensure that the patients have a good, balanced diet every day. We try to ensure that the catering service provides the opportunity for us to integrate with the patients. With my work team I try to ensure that the patients receive different sensations through the different types of food we give them. I endeavour to give them a varied menu of items from different areas and I take care to procure everything necessary for the catering service and the other areas in the centre.

I coordinate the hospital’s weekly and monthly menus and make sure that all the patients are given the nutritious food they need. I oversee the deliveries of the food in all the pavilions.

I also help to collect donated food (vegetables, fruit and pastries) for the service for which I am responsible.

I think that I can perform my work in the centre by making the most of the training facilities in order to provide a better service and thereby meet present and future needs according to circumstances.
