I was brought up in the city of San Paolo in a Catholic family.

As a Christian I have always learned to help others; my parents always worked to help those most in need.

As for my professional training, I have been a psychiatrist since 1995 and came across the Hospitaller Order some 16 years ago when I started working at the St John of God Clinic in San Paolo.

Today I am 44 years old and am Clinical Director at the Clinic.

I think my relationship with my work is not just professional as I have formed personal and deeply human relations with the staff, the patients and the Brothers themselves.
