The Hospitality that is the founding rule of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of God is often described as the unconditional and caring attention that is given to all those who are in need.

My name is Jutta Heger and I am proud to work in a hospital in which all people, no matter who they are, whatever their provenance and background, no matter where they are headed, no matter what they possess or do not possess, are given the same attention and care.  Real and genuine Hospitality does just this; it allows us to meet with one another in full respect, and I am very grateful to be part of this.
