I am the Managing Director of Our Lady of Pilar House.  I am a lay person, which is a plus in the management challenge. I run the House with the support of two directors and the Community of Brothers and Sisters.

My job implies a vocation for service aligned with the Hospitality expressed by the Order, directed both towards the patient and his family, and also the co-workers, in an institutional context, and the sustainability of the Centre and the goods it distributes among its members.

We need to bring synergy about between a business organization and the Values and presence of the Brothers of St John of God, the nucleus of the organization.  I think that this will make the organization, as is demanded in a climate of far-reaching change with regard to the concept of charity, a St John of God Centre for the world of today.
