I am a Sister of the Daughters of St. Mary of Leuca. I have been one of the Co-workers of St. John of God Polyclinic since 2012. I am a nurse by profession and work in the Dental section of the polyclinic. I handle the records and assist the dentist. I feel happy and contented in my work with so many different kinds of people. I am able to put into practice the gifts of the Holy Spirit by exercising patience, love and understanding whenever I am with patients. My mission is not only to pray but also to act. Working together with the Hospitaller Brothers and other coworkers is a fulfilling experience because we are united and co-operate with one another. I believe that all the coworkers are contributing to the apostolate and mission of the Brothers. We make their apostolate more meaningful and significant in today’s milieu and reality. I note that the people we serve seem to feel respected and blessed when we attend to their spiritual needs through pastoral care as well as their physical needs. Here in the Philippines, the mission of hospitality continues to spread and remain significant for as long as there are people who need it to live life to the full. I am grateful to God for allowing me to take part in this ministry and share the life and mission of the Hospitaller Family of St. John of God.
