The 33rd Provincial Chapter of the Polish Province is being held from 4-8 April in Zembrzyce, near Kalwaria Zebrzydowska, in an Church recreation and retreat Centre. 

Brother Joaquim Erra, accompanied by General Councillor Brother José Gasparo Louro, is presiding.

The Chapter was officially inaugurated today, 4-04-2022, with a solemn Eucharist. 

As prescribed by our Ritual, the Chapter then proceeded to perform the various preliminary canonical formalities. Brother Szymon Klupa was elected Chapter Secretary. The most senior Brother by years of profession, Brother Piotr Telma, and the youngest member of the Chapter, Brother Seweryn Kniefel, were elected as scrutineers.

The Chapter is being moderated by the Pallottine Father Mariusz Marszałek.

The following Brothers are present at the Chapter: the Provincial, the four Provincial Councillors and thirteen Vocals.

One session, from Wednesday afternoon to Thursday afternoon, will be held with the Province’s lay managers.

The Provincial Chapter on 5 April 2022 elected the new Superior of the Province: Brother Franciszek Salezy CHMIEL

After the election of Brother Franciszek Salezy CHMIEL as the Brother Provincial, the following Brothers were elected as Councillors:

Third Provincial Councillor Brother Eugeniusz KRET

Fourth Provincial Councillor Brother Jakub BIAŁEK
