Latin America and Caribbean Region
Brothers’ Regional Meeting
4 – 8 November
The amalgamation process is proceeding apace so that the Region will be in readiness to erect the Single Province at next year’s 2020 Assembly; we must also reconfigure our consecrated way of life in the Region, and this is why the Brothers met in São Paulo, Brazil, to push forward with the implementation of the lines of action laid down by the 2018 Regional Chapter.
One of the lines of action is Spirituality. The Brothers were presented with a new way of renewing our relationship with God and encountering ourselves, in addition to encountering Creation, as Pope Francis has invited us to do, speaking about our Common Home. The workshops were led by Father Víctor Ricardo Moreno, who presented the “Oración Centrante” method of prayer, using the Psalms, mindful of our humanity.
We were also accompanied by Lic.Adriana Escudero de PlanPasar, who led the Brothers to build their Personal Life Project. The meeting was attended by 78 Brothers from all the Provinces and Delegations. We were also accompanied by the General Councillor, Brother José Augusto Gaspar, who is also responsible for the Accompaniment of the America Region.
