On Jan 26th 2019,
the General Chapter continued its work with the
most important act of all: the
election of the new Superior General.
Bro Jesus Etayo was elected.
The
Capitulars prepared for the election with community and personal prayer. The
canonical election was preceded by a consultative vote and the Eucharist,
presided over by Fr Juan Carlos Martos cfm.
Thus begins a new chapter in the history of the
Hospitaller Order which will be written by the Brothers and Co-workers during
the next six years through their lives and mission. Our congratulations and very best wishes for
the future go to the new Superior General.
He shall have all our brotherly esteem and will be constantly in our
prayers
