The European Novitiate is now a reality
Having taken the decision to establlsh the new European Novitiate in Brescia, Italy, and after consulting the views of the European Provincials, the General Council has now officially appointed the members of the formation team: Brother Luis Marzo (Spain), Brother Angelo Sala (Italy), Brother Tymoteus Holozubiec (Poland) and Brother Damian Horvath (Austria).
The four Brothers met for the first time on 30 October 2018 in Rome, with the Prior General, Brother Jesús Etayo and the General Councillors Brother Benigno Ramos and Brother Rudolf Knopp. They also set down a roadmap for the new Novitiate which would not be begin working before October 2019. The meeting also decided on a wide range of other preparatory matters. On 1-4 November 2018, the group visited the premises of the new European Novitiate in Brescia to acquaint themselves on the spot with the local situation, and to draw up detailed plans for opening the Novitiate.
The next meeting of the formation team will convene in December 2018 in Brescia, mainly to draw up the Novitiate life project and formation plan.
