On 20 to 22 April 2021, the Brothers and Co-workers of the African Province of St Richard Pampuri held a Provincial Conference at the St John of God Hospital in Tanguiéta (BENIN), celebrating the conclusion of the Provincial Canonical Visitation that had been conducted between 13 March and 13 April, 2021 in the different Houses of the Province.

The Conference was presided over by the Provincial Superior, Brother Rodrigue DJITRINOU, and was attended by 17 Brothers including 2 scholastics, 2 Religious co-workers, 2 chaplains and 4 lay co-workers, making a total of 25 participants.

This moment of grace enabled them to take stock of the progress made so far in the four-year period 2018-2022, both in the life of the Brothers and in the apostolic works, and to lay down the strategies needed to achieve the outstanding objectives that are still to be attained.

At the same time, the Conference offered the Brothers an opportunity to begin reflecting on the preparatory work needed for the next Provincial Chapter.

While the Conference ended on the morning of Thursday, April 22, it was followed in the afternoon by a meeting of the Provincial Priors and Formators to reflect on the process and criteria to be adopted when preparing the evaluation reports on the Brothers under Formation.

These three days of reflection concluded with the celebration of a Mass of Thanksgiving on the evening of Thursday, 22 April 2021.
