I am Rina Monteverdi and I have been working for 25 years with the Provincial Pastoral Center of the Lombardy-Veneto Province. My testimony is that I have found my spiritual and vocational family with the Fatebenefratelli.

As a young girl, I had dreamed of being able to do pastoral work in my day job, and this dream has come true.

There are many things that have made me feel close to the Order, among them  the friendliness and warmth of the FBF Brothers; they make you feel at home, they make you feel you are part of a family, and they share with you their values, their objectives, and – of course – their studies and research.  This willingness, on their part, to enter into a close relationship with you quite naturally increases your overall involvement as well your dedication to the concept of Hospitality and to the final objective: to serve the needy in the same way as Christ and our Saints.

Another important thing for me is having been able to get to know a number of monks who are passionate about their Charism: their devotion to renewal and to the human and spiritual growth and of their colleagues and patients has been inspiring.

But I want to mention one other thing: the training and development made available to many Co-workers - people of varying levels of seniority and of competence – sets the Order at the forefront of attempts to provide high quality health care.

What more can I say? I can only give heartfelt thanks for having been chosen to be among the instruments provided by God to all those fortunate enough to have crossed the path of a Fatebenefratelli Brother or institution.
