On Saturday, March 5, 2022, at 09:00 am, the Province of the Blessed Mary of the Holy Spirit, Vietnam celebrated the Feast of Saint John of God and the Solemn Profession of four Brothers: Br Joseph Nguyen Van Gioi, Br Joseph Tran Binh Son, Br Martin Nguyen Trung Dung, and Br Joseph Cao Viet Cuong. The Mass was presided over by Bishop Joseph Dinh Duc Dao, previous bishop of Xuan Loc diocese.

Attending Mass, there are 40 priests, a large number of religious men and women, families and relatives of new solemn professions, benefactors, co-workers, and patients.

In the homily of Bishop Joseph, he encouraged the Hospitaller Brothers especially new solemn professions candidates today have mercy on patients in the manner of Saint John of God, and to be a Good Samaritan in the Gospel, and through Brothers, they would feel the mercy of God.

After the homily, the four Brothers professed their commitment before God and the community to keep the four vows of Chastity, Poverty, Obedience, and Hospitality.

From now on with the solemn vows, they will offer themselves totally to God, to the Church, and the Order in the service of the sick and needy in the manner of our Saint John of God.

May God, through the intercession of Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint John of God, grant for the new solemn profession brothers today peace, health, enthusiasm in the mission, and always faithful in Hospitaller vocation.
