The Enlarged General Definitory, which comprises the Prior General and his Council and the Secretary General as well as the Bursar General, the Director of the Missions and International Cooperation Office and the head of the Pastoral Care of the Sick Commission, met on 3 – 7 June.
The agenda was very full and wide-ranging partly because as the new Sexennium begins, because the Brothers were keen to get to grips with the important parts of the plan for the Sexennium, such as the animation by the General Curia to implement the lines of action of the General Chapter throughout the whole Order, and deciding on the composition of the Commissions, including the new General Commission for the Protection of Vulnerable People.
Other agenda items included the events and celebrations scheduled to take place this year, as well as information on various other issues having to do, in one way or another, with the whole Order or with particular Provinces and Houses.
