In a very touching ceremony in the General Curia Chapel, the Brothers and Co-workers of the General Curia welcomed their new Prior, Brother Dario Vermi, and bade farewell to Brother Innocenzo Fornaciari, who had served in the same post with great devotion for the past 18 years,.
The Prior General, Brother Jesús Etayo, conducted the installation prayer of the new Prior, stressing that the General Curia House is special by also being the headquarters of the General Government of the Order, and also because it hosts so many people, Brothers and Co-workers, when they visit Rome , mainly to attend meetings of the Commissions.
He thanked Brother Dario and Brother Innocenzo: the former, for having accepted this responsibility, and the latter, for having demonstrated great commitment, dedication and hospitality for such a long time.
The two Brothers, both from the Lombardy-Veneto Province, addressed a few words to the Brothers and Co-workers present in a moving and very warm atmosphere of togetherness. Brother Innocenzo thanked the Brothers and Co-workers for their esteem and the affection they had always shown him, and with an ‘ARRIVEDERCI’ he invited them all to visit the House in Erba (Como), where he will be taking up his ministry.
