The recent meeting of the Asia Pacific Commission in the Philippines (23-25 April) was attended by both the newly elected Asia Pacific Provincials, Delegate and also by their immediate predecessors, in order to obtain some continuity in policies and approaches.
Considerable attention was given to review and continued planning of the initial formation of Brothers in our Region, as being provided in the Philippines through the Regional Formation Program. The Provincials were able to visit the new Postulant House they had recently jointly purchased near to the Novitiate House in Amadeo.
Decisions were made with regard to planning and preparing of Regional Conferences on “Professional Standards Bio-Ethics” to be hosted by the Korean Province, “Pastoral Care in the Community” to be hosted by the Vietnamese Province, “Scholastic Formation” to be hosted by the Indian Province and Environmental Hospitality” to be hosted by the Oceania Province.
